Mercy Care exists to encourage individuals in our Carmel church body while building fellowship within the Outpost. Areas include:

Encouragement
Encouragers text, make phone calls, send cards, and offer prayer from home or outside the home.

Helping Hands
Offers assistance with light tasks such as help for caregivers, yard work,
housekeeping, etc. during illness, injury, and death.

Support
Offers short term emotional and spiritual support by being available to listen and share in the various seasons of life. Should a situation require a trained professional or longer-term support, Mercy Care will direct the need to the Counseling team.

Visitation
In times of hospitalization, grief, chronic illness and home-confinement, we can offer presence, prayer and communion if requested.

Funerals
We will assist the Pastor with family arrangements for a dinner or snacks following the funeral.

There are many other needs within our church and the community. Although Mercy Care focuses on encouragement for the Carmel church body, we will partner with Benevolence, Counseling, other Outposts, and resources as needed.
