🎟️ Step Right Up: VBS 2025 is a five-night, carnival-themed adventure where kids (age 3–grade 5) will discover how exciting it is to follow Jesus! With high-energy games, powerful Bible teaching, creative activities, inclusive programming, and uplifting worship, kids will explore how to use their gifts, share God’s love, and boldly tell others about Jesus. This isn’t just a fun event—it’s a life-shaping experience designed to build faith, friendships, and memories that last a lifetime.

WHO is it for? Kids ages 3 through 5th grade, including those with disabilities.
WHAT is Step Right Up: VBS 2025? It’s a week-long evening experience filled with games, music, stories, and fun activities that help kids grow in faith while having a blast.
WHEN is it? June 16–20, from 6:15–8:15 PM each night.
WHERE is it? Mercy Road Church – Northwest (this is a combined event for the Carmel and Northwest Churches)
HOW does registration work? 🚨 Everyone begins on a WAITLIST — Registration opens Tuesday, April 1 at 10:00 AM. This ensures a safe leader-to-kid ratio. Spots will be released weekly based on how many volunteers sign up. 📣 Set a timer to grab your spot on the waitlist early—it’s first come, first serve!
COST? Zero dollars. That’s right—it’s completely free!
Will dinner be served? No meals will be provided, but water and allergen-friendly snacks will be available.
Can I serve? Yes, and we need you! Serving all five nights is encouraged for consistency and relationship building, but one-night volunteers are welcome too. Sign up today!
How do you ensure the safety of children? All volunteers are background checked and trained through the Mercy Kids onboarding process. Every small group has at least two leaders, and our Sunday safety standards apply throughout VBS.
What if my child has food allergies or needs medication? Allergy info is collected during registration. We have allergen-friendly snacks and trained medical volunteers on-site for medication needs. Please inform a staff member if medication needs to be administered on site during the event.
What if my child needs to contact me during the event? A staff member will call you using the emergency contact info from registration.
